This series of original paintings is titled “Illegal Aliens.” It is inspired by the beauty, majesty and vastness of the animal kingdom. Despite their wonder, animals are often seen as though they do not belong to this planet — they are mistreated, relocated or forced into disappearance. Through these semi-abstract oil paintings, I aim to capture a brief, sacred moment of their lives.
Canvas is stretched on wooden strips and is ready for framing or to be displayed as is. This painting is signed ‘cherres’ in the lower left corner.
Originals are primed, stretched and painted in oils by me. All originals come unframed unless otherwise specified.
