Compositions of found and imagined objects painted with a subtle color palette. Cherres’ still lifes are stripped of details, his major concern is a balance between color, shapes, space, value and dimension. It is also important to note the interaction among the objects he depicts, which despite the genre they usually have a humane sensitivity.
Prints are made on a thick, archival-grade canvas to ensure durability. They are pH neutral and acid-free, so it will not yellow over time. Our solid 1.50″ thick wood stretcher bars ensure that the canvas print does not warp or bow over time. Optional frame is an elegant high-quality wood floating-style in 3 finishes: Black, Oak and White.
Originals are primed, stretched and painted in oils by me.
Both prints and originals come ready to hang.
