This is an almost square original figurative oil painting from my series called Daydreamers.
Daydreamers is a series of contemporary figurative portraits of people, mainly women escaping into a world of imagination, fantasy or creative thought instead of focusing on immediate, real-world tasks.

Canvas is stretched on wooden strips and is ready for framing or to be displayed as is. This painting is signed ‘cherres’ in the lower right corner.
Original paintings: I carefully hand stretch my own unprimed canvases to ensure they will not buckle or wrinkle in the frame. I also choose a higher grade canvas than the pre-stretched store bought ones. I then prime or gesso and lightly sand them; this is a process I repeat three times.
Original paintings: Please allow 5–7 business days for US delivery and longer times for international orders.
Prints: Please allow 10–14 business days for production and US delivery.
