A joyful young woman is resting among flowers and greenery. She is just taking some time off to relax and be in contact with nature, wherever it might be. As usual Cherres is always exploring our relationship with our surroundings, specifically organic objects and shapes, sometimes recognizable, other times not, but intriguing nonetheless.
This is a square large size (60 x 60 inches) original oil painting on a stretched canvas titled “In the Garden.” Canvas is stretched on heavy wooden strips and is ready for framing or to be displayed as is (hanging hardware installed.) This painting is signed ‘cherres’ in the front.
Originals are primed, stretched and painted in oils by me. All originals come unframed unless otherwise specified.
